Q + A

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will commence promptly at 3:30pm. We ask that you arrive at 3:00pm to find a seat and enjoy the music played by our talented pianist, violinist, and cellist. Should you arrive after 3:30pm, you will be asked to wait near the cocktail area to avoid any disruptions to the ceremony.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception are both located at Hazelmere Golf and Tennis Club. The ceremony will take place outdoors on the golf green (weather permitting), and the reception will be inside the Panorama Room.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We have opted for an unplugged ceremony (no phones or cameras). We have hired professionals to capture this special moment for us. After the ceremony, you are welcome to take as many photos and videos as you like.

What happens after the ceremony?

Immediately following the ceremony, we invite our guests to join us at cocktail hour for a champagne toast. While cocktail hour continues, the bridal party and family will take photos nearby. Please take this opportunity to mingle with other guests over some cocktails and canapés. You will be invited to find your seats inside the Panorama Room for the reception at 5:45pm. The reception will commence at 6:00pm.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The bar will be serving beer, wine, cider, and spirits. Last call will be at 11:00pm. While we want our guests to enjoy themselves, please drink responsibly and plan for a safe ride home. Hazelmere has confirmed that guests are welcome to leave their vehicles in the parking lot overnight.

What is the dress code?

We are excited to share our special day with you in a formal setting. To enhance the elegance of the evening, we kindly request that all our guests embrace a formal dress code. For gentlemen, this means a classic suit, while ladies are encouraged to wear formal evening dresses. We politely ask that our guests refrain from wearing white, beige and shades of green as these colours are reserved for the bride and bridal party. If you have any questions or need further clarification about the dress code, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We want everyone to feel confident and look their best as we celebrate together!

Are plus ones invited?

We are so excited to celebrate with our family and friends! This is an intimate celebration, and we ask that only those named on your invitation attend.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event. We appreciate you making childcare arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

What is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP no later than May 19, 2024. We must provide our venue with a final head count. If we do not hear back from you by this date, you will be marked as “not attending”.

I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

When you RSVP on our website, please disclose any dietary restrictions you have and we will ensure the venue accommodates them.

Is there a particular gift that would be meaningful as you begin your married life?

Your presence at our wedding means a lot to us. We are so excited to celebrate this special day with all of our family and friends. Should you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution toward our honeymoon fund would be sincerely appreciated. We hope to make our first great adventure as a married couple truly special, and your contribution would be a cherished part of that.
